Bhavya Sree also enjoyed participating in science Olympiads while in school. She is currently pursuing her BTech at IIT Bombay in Computer Science and Engineering. In addition, she loves sketching, painting, and learning to play the violin.

It is our great privilege as part of the JTF team to chat with accomplished scientist Professor Shweta Agrawal of IIT Madras. Professor Agrawal discusses her own STEM journey and discoveries, and gives us profound insight into growth in her mindset and the evolution of her personal process over the years.
Dr. Shweta Agrawal is a professor at the Computer Science and Engineering department, at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. She earned her PhD at the University of Texas at Austin and did her postdoctoral work at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her area of research is cryptography with a focus on post quantum cryptography. She has won multiple awards and honors such as the national Swarnajayanti award, the ACM India award for Outstanding Contributions to Computing by a Woman, a best paper award at Eurocrypt, Google India faculty award, BY award for excellence in research and teaching, invited speaker at prestigious conferences like Asiacrypt and “Women in Mathematics” and program co-chair for the flagship conference Asiacrypt.

Kavya Chopra is the first winner of the Joy Thomas Prize in 2022. She completed her schooling from Delhi Public School and is presently a CSE sophomore at IIT Delhi. She is passionate about discovering new things, especially learning about up and coming domains in technology. She can be found, coffee in hand, reading or listening to Bollywood music.
Tanishka Kabra is the female topper of JEE Advanced 2022 (All-India Rank 16). She is a silver medal winner in the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO). Currently pursuing BTech at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Tanishka loves music and writes songs in her spare time.
